Bowling Green High School Drama Club members Codi Riegel, Trevor Pruitt, Taylor Blackwell and Madi Grote perform during last week’s production of “Who Poisoned His Meatball.” The two-night performance at 700 West Adams received rave reviews from attendees who heralded the murder mystery as one of the best productions produced in recent years.
Off stage Madi Grote and Erin Martin are best friends.
On stage on Thursday and Friday evening, the two Bowling Green High School seniors were romantic rivals, fighting over the affections of Nero Sharpe, played by Trevor Pruitt.
“Every day I would leave practice and I would be mad at her. I would be mad at her character,” Martin said in an interview after Friday night’s final performance of “Who Poisoned His Meatball?”
Grote, Martin, and Pruitt were just three of sixteen students that staged the “Who Poisoned His Meatball?” as this year’s Bowling Green High School Spring Play. BGHS faculty member Felicia Kroencke-Gamm directed the two-act production.
