Girl Scouts awarded, bridged

Girl Scouts Troop 9308 recently earned the distinguished Bronze award for their outstanding community service.  The girls of the troop completed a girl scout journey along with 20 hours of community service.  They were rewarded with a trip to Burlington, Iowa’s Fun City. The troop also bridged from Juniors to Cadets at the year end girl scout banquet.

Hannah Flowers and Abby Robb, Juniors in Girl Scout Troop #9359 were recently rewarded for their continued efforts as they were presented the Bronze Award.

 

With the help of other members of the troop, Flowers and Robb planned a carnival for the residents at Bowling Green’s Moore-Pike nursing home, located near the City Park. A total of 20 hours was accumulated, as required, for the event.

 

Abby and Hannah are currently students at the Bowling Green Middle School.

 

Abby is the daughter of Rachel Robb of Frankford.

 

Hannah is the daughter of Phil and Amber Flowers of Curryville.
