Bobcats defeat Orchard Farm at season opener

Following their bout at the Hannibal Jamboree last month, the Bobcats were in need of an ego booster. Friday’s match-up against Orchard Farm proved to be the ticket.

With a final score of 44-38, the Bobcats added a win under their belts for the official season opener.

Bowling Green tallied 450 total rushing yards. They totalled 3/8 – 52 yrds passing yards, and only three fumbles lost. The Bobcats got eight penalties for 120 yards.

Rushing: Kaeden Jenkins seven car., 111 yards, three touch downs; Adam Holt 15 car., 163 yards; Malik McPike 11 car., 61 yards, one touch down; Jake Niemeyer 12 car., 75 yards, two touch downs; Drew Jacyna nine car., 40 yards.

Passing: Niemeyer 3/8 – 52 yrds – no touch downs, no interceptions.

Receiving: Corey Brown two rec., 45 yards; Holt one rec., seven yards.
