Volleyball falls hard at Fulton
On Saturday the varsity Lady Cats volleyball team travelled to Fulton for their tournament.
“We started the morning rough with a loss to Fatima 8/25, 14/25,” explained head coach Erin VanDyke.
Bowling Green’s second game was against Kirksville.
“We lost 10/25 and 20/25,” VanDyke said. “The girls finally started to speed up their play in the second game.”
The third pool play game was against Owensville, also a loss with matches at 15-25 and 14-25.
“Fatima and Owensville had very fast offenses, something our blockers were not used to defending,” the coach added. “We certainly struggled at the net all day.”
