Bowling Green completes Children’s Memorial

The City of Bowling Green recently completed a Children’s Memorial in the Bowling Green City park.

The new Memorial is located along the walking path near the upper pavilion on the northeast side of the park. The Children’s Memorial is dedicated to all children in the community who are facing adverse health circumstances or have succumbed to a serious illness.

The Children’s Memorial was a joint funding effort between the City of Bowling Green and the Bowling Green Rotary Club. The local Rotary Club provided two benches and two statues for the memorial. The City purchased landscaping and flagstone pacers for the project.

The memorial is handicapped accessible.

Members of the community are invited to visit the site to commemorate the special children recognized by the memorial.
