Repairs scheduled on Highway 61 outer roads

Weather permitting, beginning. the week of Oct. 21, MoDOT crews will have traffic reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for pavement repairs on the east outer roads of US 61, north of Eolia and Bowling Green, in Pike County.

Monday through Thursday, Oct. 21 through 24, crews will be working on the east outer road from Route D at Eolia to Route OO crossover just north of Eolia, and Friday, Oct. 25 from Route UU to Route U crossover north of Bowling Green.

Crews and equipment will be working close to traffic, please use extra caution while traveling through the work zone area.

All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map. Those traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones.
