The BGHS varsity Lady Cats volleyball team played Montgomery for their senior night games last Tuesday.

“The girls were pumped for the game, but we weren’t able to pull off a win,” said head coach Erin VanDyke. “They played very well, and the score reflected that (25/27, 21/25). Our kills were the highest this game, compared to our other games this season.”

The team had 13 kills total, six from senior Ella Klott.  Bowling Green also served well, coming up with five aces. They showed a good performance in passing, “better than we have all season,” VanDyke added.

Unfortunately, the Lady Cats did not have any blocks.

“This is something we have struggled with all season, speed at the net,” continued VanDyke.

Shiann Truelove was the top passer of the night, with an efficiency score of 2.14 out of 3.0 from 22 passes.
