Fire damages 16th Street property
Emergency personnel were called to respond to a fire at 16th and Main streets last week, which resulted in extensive damage to a home’s adjacent property.
The fire occurred the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 30. Local fire fighters responded to the call of a fire in the home’s shed.
Although Bowling Green Fire Department Chief Don Nacke said the source of the fire hadn’t been determined, he mentioned the garage was damaged extensively. The chief added both the structure of the building and all the contents inside were severely damaged.
The home is a rental property. Insurance benefits were not mentioned. No one was injured in the blaze.
