BGHS bands, choirs perform

The BGHS choirs and bands performed at their annual Christmas Concert last Thursday to a packed house.

The Concert Band kicked off the evening, performing “Christmas at the Movies,” “White Christmas,” “Jazzy Holidays,” and “Sleigh Ride.”

The ever-classic Pride group danced and sang to “Gettin’ in the Mood (for Christmas),” “Silent Night, Holy Night,” and “Frosty the Snowman.”

The Freshman/Mixed Choir performed “African Gloria,” “All on a Silent Night,” and “We Three Kings.” EMO awards were also presented.

The high school’s Concert Choir took to the stage for six classic Christmas tunes, including “Angels’ Gloria,” “Peaceful Silent Night,” “Jingle Bells,” “Christmas Kum Ba Ya,” and “Jolly Jingle Christmas Medley.” EMO and District awards were presented.

The concert was directed by Dennis Cox and Elaine Carty, with accompaniment by Marcia Tepen. Performances were choreographed by Lori Cox.
