Pike County 4-H council hosts “Springfest”
Ready for Spring? Why not get an early start and join the Pike County 4-H Council at its yearly “Springfest” on Sunday, March 2.
The event will be held at the Pike County Fairgrounds.
The meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sandwich ticket also includes dessert and drink. The meal consists of pork steak or pork burger, cheesy mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, drink, and dessert.
There will also be a silent auction throughout the whole day. Some of the items are Drury Hotel one night stay, Silver Dollar City tickets, Magic House tickets, Mark Twain Cave tickets, Branson Belle Showboat tickets, St. Louis Cardinal tickets and more.
You can also make a one dollar donation to get an opportunity to win a BBQ grill, tablet computer, Xbox, $100 or quilt.
This is the yearly fundraiser for the Pike County 4-H Program. The money will be used to sponsor county 4-H events and trips.
4-H is an organization for youth ages 5 to 18. There are 223 Pike County youth involved in the program.
