Lady Cats hammer Community R-6

The Lady Cats walked away from the court on a high note Friday, as they beat the visiting Community R-6 girls 53-34.

This victory means the Lady Cats finished the regular season with a 16-9 record.

Senior Tara Schuckenbrock and junior Harli Lindsay led Bowling Green’s girls offensively, scoring 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Schuckenbrock scored 50 percent of her field goals and 60 percent of her free throws. She got seven total rebounds and made one assist. She made four steals.

Lindsay scored nearly 63 percent of her two-pointers. She got nine rebounds and made two assists, one block, and four steals.

Senior Kaycee Sutton scored nine points for the Lady Cats, including one three-pointer. She got two rebounds.

Breanna Bixby also racked up some points for Bowling Green, scoring seven. She grabbed two defensive rebounds  and made two assists. She also made two steals.

Sophomore Patricia Rosenburg scored three points. She also made two steals.

 

The Lady Cats opened up the Class 3, District 7 basketball tournament at Highland HS on Monday against Clark County.
