Bobcats beat Mark Twain

With a little help from Adam Holt, who scored a whopping 26 points, the Bowling Green Bobcats found a 65-30 victory over Mark Twain in their first round of District play Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Following a 17-4 run, the Bobcats finished up the half 28-14. In the third, the ‘Cats added to their mounting lead with an impressive 26 points.

Holt led the Bobcats’ offense, with 26 points, six rebounds, two steals, and one block.

Cory Buchanan scored 10 points, including two three-pointers. The junior also racked up six rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Dakken Morris added six points and one rebound for the Bobcats.

Also tacking on to the Bobcats’ effort were Andrew Martinson, with eight points, three steals, and one block,  and Corey Brown, with six points, eight rebounds, and two steals.

Malik McPike got the Bobcats four pointsand two rebounds. Dalton Pafford scored three points and got two rebounds and one steal. Josh Early helped out with two points, three rebounds, and one steal.

The ‘Cats finished the game with 35 rebounds, two blocks, and 11 steals.
