The Bobcats did not disappoint in their first performance of the 2014 baseball season. Last Tuesday, the Bobcats hosted several area teams for their annual Bobcat Jamboree.

“Our team came out and set the tone for the jamboree when we got out of the first inning after back to back hits,” said head coach Dean Streed. “…Then D. Feldewerth struck out the three hole and then got the four hole to hit into an inning ending 4-6-3 double play.”

The coach continued, “Overall [we] did pretty well. Our pitching staff threw strikes, didn’t allow a walk all night, defensively no runs given up. This was just a start we need to continue to work hard and also develop our mental toughness if we want to be successful. We have to respect our opponents and handle our own job as a team.”
