School board approves Powell resignation, hires new staff
The Bowling Green R-I Board of Education gathered Monday, April 14, for a special session prior to the regularly scheduled April work session. In the meeting, the Board approved several changes in staff for the district.
Board of Education president Joe Klott called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Following roll call, the Board voted to accept the resignation of Darin Powell, Superintendent.
In executive session, the board hired Jacob Wilson, Speech Implementer, Ryan Schlender, Elementary PE, and Steven Guzzi, MS Social Studies for the 2014-2015 school year.
The Board will meet again on April 21 at 6:30 p.m. for their regular monthly meeting.
