A preliminary hearing is scheduled for today (Wednesday, April 30) for a Bowling Green man accused of hitting his neighbor in the face with a liquor bottle.

David H. Jennings, age 33, is charged with felony assault and armed criminal action, two felonies, in connection to an incident that happened at his home on Jan. 12.

In a probable cause statement, the victim claims Jennings hit him with a whiskey bottle after getting mad. The report says Jennings told authorities he hit the victim because he believed the man came to the residence to sell narcotics.
