Storage unit burglar receives another charge

The Kahoka woman accused of buglarizing storage units in Bowling Green received another charge in her case.

Valery Wolf, 38, now faces a property damage charge in addition to felony counts of burglary, theft, and possession of burglar’s tools.

Wolf and a second suspect, 44-year-old Jesse Livengood, of Quincy Ill., were arrested April 15 after Pike County Sheriff’s deputies reported catching the two “red-handed” at Mack’s Self-Storage, a facility located along Business Highway 61 North.

Authorities state that a search of the defendants’ vehicle resulted in the discovery property that had been stolen from the units.

Wolf will return to court Wednesday, May 7 (today). Livengood is scheduled for a hearing the same day.

The two parties were with three counts of a class C felony of Burglary in the second degree, one count of a class C felony of stealing, and one count of a class D felony of possession of burglar’s tools before the addition of the property damage charge.
