Work on weight room progresses, HVAC project on track – School board reviews budget
The Bowling Green R-I School District school board gathered for a regular monthly meeting Monday night and reviewed the budget for the upcoming school year.
President Scott Smith called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 21. All members were present but Allen Chandler.
After an amendment, the consent agenda was unanimously approved. In changes of personnel, it was noted that Kelly Hakenwerth and Bonnie Perkins both gave notice.
In the consent agenda, the board voted to approve a bread bid with Earthgrains, the district’s current provider, and a milk bid from Prairie Farms, also the district’s current provider. The board also approved an asphalt bid for repairs around the Bowling Green Elementary…
