Stolen vehicle recovered in Frankford, Louisiana residents charged
A stolen vehicle was recovered in Frankford last week, reported the Pike County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte, on July 18 his office investigated a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Route YY in rural Louisiana.
As a result of the investigation, Deputies located the stolen vehicle off of Route ZZ in Rural Frankford.
The vehicle was towed back to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office and will be returned to the owner this week.
Sheriff Korte explained that a citizen reported a suspicious person near Frankford that had dropped prescription medication and other items on the ground at a business in Frankford.
The citizen stated the man walked to a business and asked for help because his vehicle was stuck in a field.
The vehicle was determined to be the stolen vehicle.
