Burris wins – To face Gamm in November – Amendment 1 passes easily in Pike County

Pike County will have a new presiding commissioner following the election in November.

As a result of last Tuesday’s election, presiding commissioner hopefuls Terry Burris and Chris Gamm won seats for the Dem.ic and Rep. parties, respectfully.

Other results are as follows:

U.S. Representative, Dist. 6 (Dem.) – W.A. (Bill) Hedge, 623; Edward Dwayne Fields, 336; Gary Lynn Crose, 230

U.S. Representative, Dist. 6 (Rep.) – Kyle Reid, 129; Brian L. Tharp, 54; Sam Graves, 645; Christopher Ryan, 227
