Bowling Green Police Chief Don Nacke announced this week that the Bowling Green Police Department will be initiating a Senior Partnership Program.

This program, which is free to all Bowling Green city residents age 62 and older, is
designed to assist senior citizens in the event of an emergency.

Interested senior
citizens or their families can fill out a form providing information to BGPD that will allow emergency personnel (police, fire or ambulance) to access important information concerning medical issues, doctors and family members to contact in case of any emergency.

All information will be kept confidential, stored with the BGPD and used only if assistance is needed in case of an emergency.

Additional information as to how to participate in this program can be obtained by contacting the Police Department at 573-324-3200.
