Aldermen table pending shoulder project
The Bowling Green Board of Aldermen gathered Monday evening for their regular monthly meeting and to discuss several topics, including upcoming street improvement plans.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Don Hunter at 5:30 p.m. As of roll-call all members were present but Ed Lawson and Kenda Flynn.
The board voted unanimously to approve the previous meeting’s minutes, presentation of warrants, and treasurer’s report.
As the next order of business, the board voted to unanimously approved bill number 1787, which amends a section of the municipal code pertaining to camping at the city Lake area. The bill was approved to Ordinance number 1757.
Under new business, the board unanimously approved a sewer abatement for Terry and Amanda Wilson in the amount of $40.70.
