Jeffrey Michael Swenson, 39, of Paris passed away at 6:24 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014 at Monroe Manor in Paris after a brief illness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal. Father Mike Quinn will officiate. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Louisiana.
The James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.
He was born April 13, 1975, in Louisiana, to Charles E. Wilson and Cynthia J. Swenson. He relocated to Columbia in 1979 and attended schools for the developmentally disabled until age 21.
Survivors include his parents, Paul and Cindy Harris of Hannibal; one brother, Joseph Swenson Mullen of Hannibal; six aunts and one uncle and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his large family of caregivers and residents at Monroe Manor, where he received loving and compassionate care for nearly two decades.
He was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Maude Wilson and his maternal grandparents, Norman Charles “Pat” and Helen Swenson.
