More surveillance coming to city park

The park board advisory committee voted on some of their project priorities for this fiscal year and the next at their most recent meeting – and surveillance, park structure roofs, and ballpark lighting were among those priorities.

As the city’s fiscal year nears its end, city administrator Dan Lang asked the park board members to outline where they would like to recommend allocating funding.

At a previous meeting, members voted to recommend purchasing two cameras for surveillance of the main city park. They also voted to allocate $11,150 to the Cancer Memorial Park.
