Louisville Christian Church celebrates 180 years
The Louisville Christian Church Celebrated its 180th anniversary on Sept. 23 with a homecoming celebration, basket dinner, and afternoon hymn sing.
Pastor Carla Potts conducted the service which was attended by approximately 75 members and guests. Special music was provided by Howard Woods, Steve Sanderson, Roberta Hagemeier, and the Jerry Cox family. The church history was read by JoAnn Moore.
The Louisville church is said to be the earliest Christian church constructed west of the Mississippi. See page 5 for the entire story.
