Bowling Green’s business park and Town Center has seen a flurry of activity in recent years, and it looks like that trend isn’t stopping anytime soon.
It was reported at Monday night’s general committee meeting of the city council by city building inspector/code enforcement officer Mel Orf that the Valvoline Quik Lube plans to hold a ground breaking ceremony next Thursday, Oct. 11 at their new spot on lot 2-EB in the Town Center.
All aldermen and the Mayor were invited, Orf said.
In other building news, Orf reported that Pizza Hut will commence their expansion into the Strip Mall as soon as they finish another project in Nebraska; and that Dollar General has put their expansion project to become a “Dollar General Plus” on hold.
