The Wiffle Ball Tourney Champs for the second annual wiffle ball tournament was won by the Moore Family.
Team members include: Randy Moore, Larry Moore, Chris Moore and Steven Moore. The team was sponsored by UFCW Local 88 of St. Louis, a meat cutters union. Randy Moore organizer of the event was formerly a member of the local 88 union (prior to store closing of Kroger in Hannibal) and was a member of the winning team. The four men graciously donated their first prize
money winnings back to the Kroger Team.
All four of these men strongly support all events that are held for Relay for Life.
The second place winners of the event were registered as the “Long Yard Bombers” and the three players were: brothers Jonathan Williams,
Brett Carper and Reitz Carper.
The wiffle ball tournament was held at the
Frankford Ball Park on Saturday, Sept. 22. Ten teams participated in the event and it was a
fun day of activities.
Food was served by the Kroger Miracles Relay
Team and Silent Auction Items were bid on throughout the day.
The team wants to thank all those that took part in the days events and offer a special recognition to
organizer Randy Moore.

closing of the Kroger stores in Hannibal and
