Pike County 4-H Shooting Sports Invitational was held on July 8 at Ka-Tonka in New London. Several area 4-H counties participated in our shotgun, small bore and archery events. Results from the Pike County Shooting Sports Invitational are the following:
Small bore: Junior members; Shay Butler second, Dagan LaBrash third, Andrew Biggs fourth; Landon Kent fifth. These four individuals took home a team medal along with their ribbons. Jeffery Lovell and Luke Simmerman also participated.
Intermediate members: Austin Simmer-man first; Sidney Thomas third.
Senior member: Rebecca Griffith second.
Archery: Junior members: Toby Griffith first in Recurve No Accessories; Tommy Grote first in Compound Release.
Intermediate members: Kayli LaBrash first in Compound Fingers; John Grigsby fourth in Compound Release.
Senior members: Rebecca Griffith first in Compound Release; Jeffery Roland first in Compound Fingers.
Shotgun: Inter-mediate members in Trap Single: Garrett Swarnes third; Ally Grote fifth; Codi Riegel sixth.
Intermediate Trap Doubles member: Codi Riegel third.
Senior Trap Single members: Thomas Niemeyer first; Nathan Buchmeier fourth; Jordan Shaw fifth.
