November marks Farm to Fork month at certain grocery markets and schools.
To commemorate this month, farmers and representatives from many grocery stores are visiting their local schools to discuss the process of farming and bringing food to the table.
Dave and Beth McConnell, of Gazette, visited Bowling Green High School last Tuesday with a presentation on their new and inventive farming venture: aquaponic lettuce. This lettuce was featured in Tuesday’s garden bars at the school, and received rave reviews.
