Amy Patterson – Ace Reporter: My Thoughts
During my daily internet news browsing time Monday, I came across a very interesting article…
Bigfoot in Utah.
Yes, Bigfoot. Hikers visiting Utah’s Provo Canyon were just minding their bee’s (bee’s-wax/business, for the less hip), when they stumbled upon some massive, brown, scary animal.
When they first spotted the thing, they assumed it was a bear. But then it stood up. And stared at them. And threw Jack Links beef jerky at them (OK, not really. That was my idea of a joke.).
Fortunately the hikers had their video camera with them and caught the whole exchange on film, before they fled in sheer terror. Note: If you’re interested, you can find the link to the article and the video at yahoo.com.
So it seems as if it’s too good to be true; I can understand that. As a fair-day skeptic myself, it seems a bit unreal. However, why not believe it? In a time of political propaganda and sex scandals galore, I will warmly welcome any escape from “the real world.” I can assume I’m in good company on that note.
Regardless of your stance on Bigfoot, I welcome you to revel in the small breaks from the mundane task that has become every day life. Enjoy!
