Linda Chick of Bourbon, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 54.
Linda was born in Rolla on Sept. 30, 1958 to the late Cecil and Rosemary Dennison Graddy. She and Jim Chick were married July 18, 1998 at the First Baptist Church in Leasburg,
Linda and Jim operated Chick Printing in both Bowling Green, and Bourbon, for many years splitting their time between both communities. Linda always put her family and friends first, in spite of her own health problems. She loved to cook and share with others and worried about and spoiled her husband.
Mrs. Chick is survived by her husband; two stepsons, James Chick and Daniel and wife, Micelle Chick, both of St. James; three grandsons, James, Wyatt and Logan Chick of St. James; one brother, Jimmy Madison and wife Trisha of Bourbon; four sisters, Barbara Idey and husband James of Lebanon, Darlene Parker and husband John of Washington, Rosanne Shepard and friend Mark Randolph of Rogers, Ark., Angela Monda and husband Ron of Cuba; a special daughter-in-law Tracie Chick; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Kenneth Graddy; and a nephew Doug Parker.
Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Leasburg with the Rev. Tony Amato officiating.
Burial was in the Lea Cemetery in Leasburg.
