Bryson L. Kinkade, 18, of Louisiana, suffered minor injuries on Monday, Nov. 26 in a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. D at Pike County Road 266, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Kinkade was southbound on the highway at 3:59 p.m. in his 1996 Toyota Corolla when a 2010 Volkswagen Beetle driven northbound by Brandon J. Rollins, 29, of Granite City, Ill. pulled into his path.

Rollins failed to yield to Kinkade’s oncoming vehicle while making a left turn, causing the front of each vehicle to collide, the MSHP  said.

Rollins was not injured but Kinkade was taken by ambulance to Pike County Memorial Hospital for treatment. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
