Thanksgiving meals

A dedicated corps of hospice volunteers put on a Thanksgiving Dinner for Pike County Health Department, Home Health and Hospice patients.  This year 20 meals were prepared and delivered to home bound patients.  The Thanksgiving Dinner is only one example of how volunteers make a difference in the lives of their patients.  Our volunteers often sit with patients, do clerical work, prepare baked goods and many other kind acts of caring fellowship. If you are interested in volunteering contact Donna Ellison, Social Worker and Hospice Volunteer Coordinator at 573-324-2111.
