Route E to close temporarily

Wednesday, Dec, 12 through Friday, Dec. 14, Route E will be closed to traffic approximately 1 mile north of Curryville for the replacement of a pipeline system.

Weather permitting, Route E will be closed to traffic beginning Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. and will reopen to traffic by 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon. Motorists must use alternate routes; traffic will be detoured over US 61 and US 54. Message boards with detour information are in place at Frankford and Bowling Green advising motorists of the road closure.

Weather permitting, the week of Dec. 17, MoDOT crews will temporarily close Route E for culvert replacements on the dates indicated.

Crews will have the road closed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes during these times; some areas of the road will be open to local traffic only.

 

Dec. 19 – road closed approximately .5 mile to 1.2 miles south of Route C.

Dec. 20 -  road closed approximately 4.5 miles to 6 miles south of Route C.

Dec. 21 – road closed approximately 9 miles south of Route C.
