Chatman pleads guilty – Sentenced to seven years for escape

Emmanuel Chatman, of Louisiana, plead guilty to escaping his confinement from the Pike County Jail during his arraignment Monday morning.

Chatman faced several charges from this account, including escape from confinement, damage to jail property and theft/stealing (value of property or services is $500 or more but less than $25,000) after the Sept. 8 escape.
