PCTC awards $100 to Bowling Green resident

Stefanie Davis of Bowling Green won a $100 gift card; presented to her by  the Pike County Tourism Commission(PCTC).

Davis completed a survey at the Champ Clark “Honeyshuck” Home and was entered into a drawing for the gift card.  The survey is designed to help the PCTC target marketing to potential Pike County tourists.

Margie Greenwell, chair of the PCTC said “We are pleased to award the gift card to Davis.  We are beginning to collect surveys for a second award during 2013.”

Greenwell and Joanna Brock represent Clarksville on the commission.  Louisiana representatives are Robert Mustell and Pamela Brown.  Jamie Tomek represents Bowling Green.

Tomek says “We currently have a vacancy on the commission for Bowling Green.  Anyone who would like to serve may contact Mayor Jim Moore or me.”

Currently the Tourism Commission is developing a website featuring Pike County businesses and attractions.  Any Pike County business or attraction wanting to be a part of the website should contact Jamie Tomek at jtomek@nemonet.com   or call her at 573-324-3668.

In 2013 the commission will develop a brochure about Pike County.  Any business or individual willing to bid on the design should contact Tomek for more information.
