Route E to temporarily close for repairs

MODOT has announced its plan to close Route E between Curryville and Frankford temporarily for repairs, beginning Jan. 3.

Crews will be working during daylight work hours, unless otherwise indicated. Various forms of traffic control such as flaggers, portable traffic signals, cautionary signs, and protective trucks will be in place to secure the safety of the motoring public as well as the safety of highway crews.

On Jan. 3,  Route E will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. approximately 4.5 miles to six miles south of Route C for a culvert replacement. Drivers are instructed to use alternate routes. Some areas of the road may be open to local traffic only.

As of Jan. 4, the road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. approximately nine miles south of Route C for a culvert replacement. Again, drivers are instructed to use alternate routes. Also, some areas of the road may be open to local traffic only.
