Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel A. Henderson, 84, of Washington, Mo., formerly of Louisiana, will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 11 at Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Joe Sieskas will officiate.
Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clarksville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Friday at the funeral home.
There will be a dinner for the family following graveside services by the Christian Church, 517 S. Carolina St., Louisiana.
Mrs. Henderson passed away Jan. 3, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Washington. She was born Sept. 25, 1928 in rural Louisiana to Albia L. and Irene Jeffries Steers.
She was married to Ben L. Henderson who preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her father, Albia; her brothers, Mac and Eddie; a sister, Iola; and sons, William B. and Lester O.
She is survived by her mother, Irene Steers; her sister, Joyce Findley and husband Bob; two sons, Charles P. Henderson and wife Mary, and Richard L. Henderson; two daughters in-law, Julia and Lynn; 12 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Sweitzer, Ben Henderson, Adam Henderson, Jason Henderson, Aaron Henderson, Leo Bergin, Christopher Ninness, and Donald Ray Davis.
