PCMH announces new director
Pike County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) recently announced that Keith Oakes is now serving as director of PCMH Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.
“Physical therapy and sports medicine services are extremely important in Pike County,” said Lorraine Harness, PCMH CEO and administrator. “We have continued to expand our services over the years to meet the needs of the region we serve. I’m pleased to have Keith Oakes move into the director position.”
Oakes, of Wentzville, earned his Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2001 from Rockhurst University. He is married to Christy and is a proud father of two children, eight-year-old Emily and five-year-old Ashton.
Throughout his 12-year career in physical therapy, Keith has worked in outpatient orthopedics and is experienced in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders and post operative rehabilitation. He also received education in manual therapy from through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
“I enjoy playing an active role in my patients’ recovery and aiding them in their return to normal activity,” said Keith, who has been with PCMH Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine for five years. “I really enjoy working with and getting to know my patients here in Pike County and am excited to serve as director.”
