The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at 8 a.m. on Highway 61 at Pike County Road 310, a vehicle driven by Rebecca C. Wilkinson, 71, of Louisiana failed to yield at a designated yield sign causing her vehicle to strike the tow unit of vehicle two driven by Scott D. Sturtz, age 45 of Cambridge, Iowa. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
Mrs. Wilkinson was transported to Pike County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
