Board of Education meets, discusses grant nomination

The Bowling Green R-1 School District Board of Education met for their regular meeting Tuesday, Feb. 19. Among the many issues discussed were those of a $25,000 grant nomination and possible sidewalk construction near the baseball and softball fields.

The meeting was called to order by board president Joe Klott at 6:30 that evening. All of the Board of Education members were present except for Louise Hunter.

The Consent Agenda, including previous meeting minutes, fund transfers, and bill approvals, was approved unanimously by the present members.
