Lady Cats take Macon in district play, move to championship game
A 41-36 Lady Cat victory over the Macon Lady Tigers Friday night sent the BGHS girls to the district 7 championship game. This victory lands the Lady Cats a 22-5 record.
Bowling Green’s ladies shot only a 34 percent field goal average, and were still able to find the win. The Lady Cats sank seven of their 10 free throw attempts. The got 18 total rebounds and made three blocks. The girls made 12 steals and 12 assists. BGHS had 14 turnovers and 16 personal fouls; only one player fouled-out.
