The Lady Cats found little competition in their opposition at Thursday’s district game. Bowling Green took on the Mark Twain Lady Tigers and beat them with a 49-18 score. Mark Twain had two zero-points quarters.
BGHS shot only a 45 field goal percentage, and made six of nine attempted free throws. The girls got 20 total rebounds and made 25 steals. The Lady Cats made 13 assists. Bowling Green tallied 12 turnovers and 16 total personal fouls.
Breanna Bixby scored nine points for the Lady Cats, sinking three of her seven attempted three-pointers. This gave her a 43 field goal percentage. Bixby got one rebound and made two steals. The sophomore made three assists and no personal fouls.
Lauren Sparks got two rebounds. She made one assist. Sparks had no turnovers and only one personal foul.
Kylie Conrow scored two points. She grabbed two defensive rebounds and made five steals. Conrow made one assist and had no turnovers.
Courtney Kadlec led in points, making 12. She shot a 71 field goal percentage. Kadlec made both of her free throws. Kadlec got five total rebounds and made five steals. She made three assists.
Kaycee Sutton made six points for BGHS. She tallied a 50 field goal percentage. The junior got one rebound and made two steals. Sutton made three assists.
Caitlin McClain made seven points. She got five total rebounds and made one assist. McClain made one steal, as well.
Kelsey Scherder also scored seven points for the Lady Cats. She made one of her two free throws. Scherder got two total rebounds. She made four steals and one assist.
Harli Lindsay scored six points, a 60 percent field goal average. She got two rebounds and six steals. Lindsay was the only BGHS player to foul-out in this game.
