Number 23-ranked William Woods University, of Fulton, women’s basketball team will now advance to the American Midwest Conference semifinals after a 79-49 defeat over Harris-Stowe last Tuesday night.
Bowling Green native Katie Scherder managed to score a career-high 19 point game. This includes a new personal single-game best of five three-pointers.
Scherder was also named to First Team All-American Midwest Conference.
