Church of the Nazarene Easter plans are announced

Posted on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 3:02 pm

Easter morning will begin with their annual Early Service from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.  This abbreviated service highlights the Empty Tomb experience that first Easter morning.  Breakfast will be shared from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  The Easter Treasure Hunt is designed for grade school kids where Easter eggs are hunted but also special emblems related to Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection.  These are used to tell the Resurrection story, then all kids go home with a bag of candy after morning worship.  This takes place beginning at 9:30.  Adult Sunday School classes (for those not with their children) are offered during this time.  Then at 10:30 the morning Easter Celebration Worship Service begins with rejoicing in the risen Savior.

Because of the fullness of the morning, evening services for that day are dismissed.  The community is invited to any and all of these events.  The church is located at 807 S. Court Street in Bowling Green.  For more info go to bgnazarene.com or call 573-324-2450.  Van pick up is available.
