YMCA Youth Night
The Twin Pike Family YMCA offers a youth night once a month for area youth in grades sixth through 12. This month’s activity will be Wii Bowling Tournaments held April 30 6 to 8 p.m. in the YMCA teen Center. Admission is Free and concessions will be available for purchase. The Twin Pike Family YMCA will be offering a Lifeguard certification class beginning April 29 through May 12 for individuals 16 years of age and older. Under the age of 18 must have parental consent to participate in the course. Participants must be able to pass the Physical Competency Require-ments (conducted in class on the first day) must have own transportation to and from training classes (water portion of class will be held in Hannibal during this time the YMCA will offer transportation in the YMCA Van.

YMCA Spring Boot Camp
(May 13 – June 21)
Challenge yourself to a six week boot camp! Goals of the camp are to build endurance, strength, and improve flexibility regardless of your fitness level at the beginning of the program. Modify the intensity to match your fitness level. Exercises will include cardio, weight training, calisthenics and stretching. Heart rate monitors will be available for use during camp to ensure a safe and optimal workout. Camp sessions will be held indoors and outdoors each week.
• Camp will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings 6 to 7:30 p.m.
• Homework assignments on day’s camp is not in session.
• Each participant will receive a free T-Shirt
• Weekly awards and prizes
(Participants must complete an evaluation form before participating. Anyone under a doctor’s care must have a doctor’s release to participate.)
Registrations due: April 15
Fees: $40 YMCA Members, $50 Non-YMCA Members
The Twin Pike Family YMCA will once again offer an adult co-ed softball league on Sunday afternoons beginning June 2 at Wallace Memorial Park in Louisiana; the league will run for six weeks, with the sixth week being a single elimination tournament. (must have more then four teams to offer tournament) Teams must consist of five men and five women on the field. First eight teams will be accepted. (No games on June 16 Father’s Day)

Team Fee: $260
Late fee $30 after May 15
