Bowling Green High School’s varsity baseball team put up a fight as the Clopton Hawks challenged their home field. The Bobcats came out on top after seven innings with a final score of 9-7.

The Bobcats’ first inning started out slow, with only Alex Roy making it to a base. Clopton didn’t score any runs in the first inning, either, going three up,  three down on their first at bats.

BGHS amped it up in the second inning, with Corey Brown and Austin Noble each scoring a run, tying up with the Hawks 2-2.
