Bobcats fall to Wright City in seven innings

The varsity Bobcats baseball team fell to the Wright City Wildcats 4-2 after seven innings Wednesday evening at the Bobcats’ second home game of the season.

Pitcher Darren Feldewerth led the Bobcats from the mound, pitching six innings. The junior claimed the win for strikeouts, pitching nine. Feldewerth pitched 18 outs, four hits, and walked six. He had a 56.2 strike percentage. 63 of his 112 pitches resulted in strikes. 11 of his 29 batters swung for a strike on the first pitch. He pitched each of the four hits and runs.
