Aldermen meet Monday
The Bowling Green city Board of Aldermen gathered Monday evening for their regular meeting at City Hall. Among the topics discussed was that of the appointment of a new acting Board President.
Mayor Jim Moore called the meeting to order just after 5:30 p.m. Roll call was taken, and showed that each aldermen was present, with the exception of Kenda Flynn. Present members voted unanimously to approve the previous meeting’s minutes, warrants, and treasurer’s reports.
The Mayor called for a public hearing, in which Betsy Barnes, of the Pike County Agency for Developmental Disabilities, along with a representative from the Mark Twain Housing Committee, took to the podium.
