BGMS to host “Family Feud” game night
The Bowling Green Middle School will host a “Family Feud Fun Night” on April 19 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the BGMS gym. Students in sixth to eighth grades are invited to bring an older family member or adult to play “Family Feud.” Attendees will play a game very similar to the popular television game show with a few twists.
When a student and their family member arrive at school, they will be given a number. The number will be used to tell them what team they are on. The questions asked will apply to life today. The responses were taken from staff members in the Bowling Green School District.
Once a winner is determined, the team will advance on to a winners’ bracket and “take on” another team. The losing team will advance to a losers’ bracket and “take on” another team. Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners.
The BGMS Student Council will have a soup/potato dinner from 5 to 6 p.m. in the middle school cafeteria.
The school would like to get an estimate of how many people are planning on coming. Please call 573-324-2181, or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to attend.
If a student wants to participate, but does not have an adult who can participate, the student can still sign up and participate. If BGMS staff know in advance, they will help find an adult to participate with the student.
