Bobcats slam Wellsville-Middletown

After a whopping 11 runs in the first inning, the Bowling Green Bobcats trampled Wellsville-Middletown’s Tigers in five innings with a final score of 14-3 during the away game Tuesday, April 9. In total, the Bobcats had 26 at bats, 10 hits, 11 RBIs, six base on balls, and only two strike outs.

Freshman Andrew Martinson pitched five innings for Bowling Green, finishing with a 76.4 strike percentage as he threw 42 strikes of 55 total pitches.  The Bobcat’s first pitch strikes totaled 17 of his 21 batters faced. Martinson pitched five hits and three runs. The young pitcher threw three strikeouts.
